Burning the midnight oil

Round about midnight I sold a shop banner and decided to stay up and get it done right away. Really nice customer who knew just what she wanted incorporated into her banner. Leopard and Hot Pink.

Sewlicitations has been sewing since she was a young child. You can read about her experience here.

She'll be adding items to her Zibbet Shop this week. Mark her shop as a favorite and check back to see her work.

She was pleased with her banner and left me fabulous feedback.

If you would like any custom graphic work for a banner, avatar, business cards, ads, flyers, bookmark designs, invitations, birthday cards, holiday cards, you can contact me here.

I can also design pinback buttons, mirrors, magnets or key chains for your shop or any event. Samples of these products can be found at Portable Graffiti.

I've been adding some new things to Wild Goose Chase

The geese are flying south, and that reminded me that I have been neglecting my shop Wild Goose Chase.

If you have stop in now there a few new things but keep checking back as I will be adding more over the next few days.

I've added some vintage greeting cards, like this one.

Poor Neglected Wild Goose Chase

I blog so much about the buttons at Portable Graffiti that I forget to blog about Wild Goose Chase, my other shop.

This is the first time ever I am selling a photograph that I have taken.

"Stuff For Sale" by Wild Goose Chase

I could not pass up this photo opportunity when I saw it. A wonderful rusty sign hanging on a palm tree in sunny Florida.

Would look great hanging in any antique shop, resale shop, or art studio.

Signed and dated on the back.

Etsy Bloggers Supporting Each Other

I received an email letting me know that another etsy shopkeeper had sent me a "convo." I logged into Wild Goose Chase and read that Boylerpf had written a blog post about vintage sunglasses and featured the Jean Paul Gautier Adjustables that are for sale in my shop along with some other amazing vintage sunglasses that are for sale on Etsy.

How nice of her to do that. This is yet another thing about Etsy that is so awesome. There are, as of this post, 156,892 sellers on Etsy. They support each other. Some buy from each other. Some do trades and exchanges. Some feature each other in their blogs. Some promote each other on Twitter. They comment on each other's photos on Flickr.

You can visit Alicia's Blog HERE. You can find her Etsy Shop, Boyle Antique & Vintage Jewelry HERE.

All Aboard Etsy Treasury

Here's a cute treasury by Suzi's Corner Boutique. Colorful and filled with action. Toot! Toot!

If you want that vintage train set, please, please, make an offer. I need the space. I am running 2 Etsy Shops out of my bedroom. Plus I also do freelance work.

Hop a train and get on over to Wild Goose Chase and take a look at the pictures of the train set. If you need more photos, let me know. I have plenty more.

Need luggage for the train trip? Check out Suzi's shop. She has vintage train cases and much more.

Woke up this morning in Sunny Florida to find out one of my Valentine Art Cards (ACEO) was featured in a Treasury by Kae1Crafts intended to warm those folks in the north.

You can see the treasury HERE until it expires. If you visit the treasury, it might make it to the front page of Etsy.

Swedish Heart Baskets

I learned to make these Swedish Heart Baskets years ago from my friend Lisa in New York. They are easy to make by weaving paper, and adding embellishments and ribbons. I also tucked paper doilies inside them. You can buy my Swedish Heart basket and use it as a gift card holder, or a treat bag, or fill with dried flowers. If you still have your tree up like I do, you can hang them on your tree.

More Art Cards

I made some new art cards (ACEOs) for Valentines day.

You can find them at Wild Goose Chase.
